Research Activities in DOCOMO ~ Toward Smart Life Partner ~

Dr. Hiroshi Inamura, Research Laboratories, NTT DOCOMO, Inc.

speaker2 Hiroshi Inamura has been working for Research Laboratories at NTT DOCOMO, Inc. since 1998 and serves as an executive research engineer. Before current position, he was a director in DoCoMo Communications Laboratories USA. His research interests are in the area of system software in connected devices, urban computing and wireless networking. Hiroshi participated in the IETF and OMA standardization activities and he received an achievement award from the Information Processing Society of Japan for his contribution to the standardization of mobile multimedia protocol in 2004. From 1994 to 1995, he was a visited researcher in the Department of Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University. He received B.S., M.S. and Ph.D degree from Keio University, Japan. He is a member of IPSJ, IEICE, and ACM.
